Description
Originally from Veracruz, Carla Kirsch Lopez moved to France in 2013 to attend the Institut Paul Bocuse. After gaining experience in starred establishments like Troisgros, she opened her own restaurant, Alebrije, in Lyon in 2021. Her cuisine, inspired by Mexican traditions and respectful of local products, features a subtle exploration of chilies. A winner of the Gault & Millau 2021 Young Talents Grant, she earned a Bib Gourmand in 2023. She represents a young generation of foreign chefs who creatively and sincerely reinterpret French gastronomy.
