Gwendal Poullennec is a senior executive at the Michelin Group and the current International Director of the Michelin Guides, which he joined in 2004 after graduating from ESSEC. He played a key role in the Guide’s international expansion, overseeing its deployment in Asia, the Americas, and Europe, while launching digital initiatives to modernize the Guide. Since 2018, he has led the Michelin Guides, introducing distinctions such as the Green Star to highlight sustainable gastronomy. Alongside expansion projects, he has strengthened the Guide's digital presence and established awards to promote the diversity of professions within the restaurant industry. Gwendal Poullennec continues to contribute to the global reputation and evolution of the Michelin Guide.
